How it works
Search for mental health and recovery services by location, insurance, specialty or more.
Talk to our virtual assistant via text or voice for help finding the appropriate care.
Look for the "Information verified by provider" badge. It means the provider has confirmed their information is accurate.

Frequently Asked Questions
RecoveryRachel connects you to a wide range of State licensed and certified mental health and addiction treatment services across Ohio, including counseling and therapy, outpatient and intensive outpatient programs, peer support services, and more.
Provider information is updated in two ways. One way is through the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) licensure records — when a provider is certified through DBH, RecoveryRachel is updated accordingly. The other way is through direct input from DBH-licensed providers, who can log in and update their own information anytime.
The "Information verified by provider" badge confirms the information has been reviewed and verified by that provider for accuracy. If it appears next to a provider's full profile, it means the organization has reviewed and confirmed all the details within their profile. If the badge appears next to a specific item — like a location, phone number, or insurance — it means that individual detail has been confirmed.
Go to RecoveryRachelOhio.org. There are two options:
- Browse providers to search listings like you would on a search engine or use filters to narrow provider details, or
- Talk or Chat with RecoveryRachel for step-by-step guidance.
For extra help, check out the How to Use page.
No. Anyone can search listings and Talk or Chat with RecoveryRachel without signing up or logging in. Only service providers who want to review or update their own listings need to sign in with an OHID.
