The Survivor Advocacy Outreach Program (SAOP) provides free, confidential support and advocacy services for survivors of sexual violence, intimate partner and domestic violence, human trafficking, and stalking through crisis intervention, hospital advocacy, legal assistance, and service coordination. They serve adults, teens, and co-survivors (family and loved ones) across Athens County, Ohio, offering 24/7 crisis support through their hotline and weekday web chat services. SAOP distinguishes itself through its comprehensive approach combining direct survivor support with prevention education, community awareness training, and the New Leaf Justice Enterprises program for long-term holistic support.
