Recovery Center of Hamilton County
Overview
The Recovery Center of Hamilton County (RCHC) is a non-profit, Ohio Department of Behavioral Health-certified Peer Run Organization that serves individuals with behavioral health conditions who are engaged in and directing their recovery. The two primary services the RCHC offers are individual peer support and group educational services. RCHC staff consists of certified peer recovery supporters who have lived experience with mental illness or substance abuse disorders. The team uses those experiences to provide education and support that are voluntary, hopeful, strengths-focused, person-driven, and that facilitate change. The RCHC has numerous community partnerships and a long history of collaborating with other peer-run organizations. The RCHC is currently a member of OhioPRO, and its CARF-accredited Queen City Clubhouse program participates with the Ohio Clubhouse Coalition.
