Overview

LifeAct is an Ohio-based organization providing suicide prevention education programs for middle and high school students (grades 6-12), as well as QPR training for adults in workplace and educational settings. The organization serves over 48,000 students annually across 203 schools in 17 Ohio counties, teaching them to recognize depression and suicide warning signs, manage stress, and seek professional help. Their evidence-based programs, developed in partnership with University Hospitals, are distinguished by their alignment with Ohio Department of Education Social Emotional Learning Standards and have successfully helped over 4,400 students seek help in the last year alone.
