Overview

The Lake Area Recovery Center is dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based care for individuals seeking to overcome behavioral health disorders. Our mission is to empower and support each person on their journey towards lasting recovery and improved well-being. Lake Area Recovery Center (LARC) is a private, nonprofit organization in Ashtabula, Ohio devoted to the prevention and treatment of substance use and mental health disorders. LARC is certified by Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (ODBH) and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). We provide outpatient, residential treatment, day treatment, individuals, psychiatry, med-management, MAT, EMDR, case management, and recovery housing. We believe that financial hardship should not be a barrier to someone seeking help in overcoming a substance use and/or mental health disorders. We are committed to offering affordable and accessible addiction recovery programs to our clients, regardless of their ability to pay for treatment.
