Overview

Cleveland Treatment Center (CTC) was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1971 and is licensed as an Outpatient, Methadone, and Prevention Program by the Ohio Department Behavioral Health (DBH). Service areas are Cuyahoga County and primarily the city of Cleveland. The mission of CTC is to improve the health and wellbeing of residents of Northeast Ohio by providing state-of-the-art, cost effective, abstinence-based drug treatment, and prevention and health promotion services. Since 2003, CTC has been nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation on Rehabilitation of Facilities (CARF) as an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) and Youth Prevention, Adult Diversion, and HIV/AIDS Prevention Programs. 2014 to date, CTC has served as the Recovery Housing Benefits Coordinator for consumers engaged by Treatment, Mental Health, and Probation for ADAMHSB Cuyahoga County providers. CTC also provides Art Therapy services to providers. In 2016- achieved certification, Ohio Recovery Housing, MAT ‘’Hattie” Recovery House person leaving detox, emergency rooms of referred by ADAMHSB Cuyahoga County providers. 2018, CARF and ORH recognized CTC’s commitment and establishment of Community and Recovery Housing. Since 1990 Let It Ride has provided Work-based learning and occupational skills development. 1989 first urban Hooked on Fishing Aquatic education, environmental and experiential based program in United States. They have received national and state recognition as ‘Best Practice’ approaches in cognitive behavior /education, awareness, recovery support and positive alternatives to risk taking behaviors such as, ATOD misuse, negative peer pressures, violence, trafficking, stress management. In January 2017, CTC became the 41st Berklee College of Music Community Network Site in the United States, since 2014, CTC has been a community Food Bank location, addressing the social determinants of health. CTC has a long and successful history delivering services in a culturally competent manner and provides effective, equitable, and respectable care.
