Founded in 1993, BRIDGES is a non-clinical, non-residential, and consumer operated mental health agency. We serve adults residing in Lake County, Ohio that are interested in improving their mental health. We strive to empower people to build social skills, increase independence, and enhance their overall quality of life. Our mission is to create, maintain, and expand a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where mental health consumers can make informed choices, strengthen their independence, and empower themselves. We educate, inform, and advocate at the local, state, and federal levels to promote understanding, recovery, wellness, and consumer empowerment. BRIDGES Executive Director is Carol Casey. BRIDGES receives vital funding from the Lake County ADAMHS Board.
