Begun Foundation, a supporting foundation of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, The Begun Center provides critical violence prevention and social skills education to at-risk children and families, to reduce physical and verbal violence among youth. The Center’s programs deliver mental health strategies aimed at helping youth and their families to mitigate violence while developing key social and emotional skills and other protective factors to increase their long-term stability and wellness. The centerpiece of the Begun Center is an innovative youth and family resiliency curriculum, targeting two key developmental stages: preschoolers (ages 3-5) and young adolescents (grades 4-8). The Center’s preschool and middle school programs launched in summer 2025.
